VISION STATEMENT

To be one of Kaiser Permanente's forums that fosters innovation, learning, and inter-generational collaboration, thereby empowering and enabling employees to make an impact on the future of KP and the entire healthcare industry.

genKP BrainTrust is a professional development program that adopts technology and inspirational seminars to provide opportunities for collaboration and mentorship between Kaiser Permanente leadership and workforce. It serves as a space for sharing and learning about innovative solutions within healthcare.

Professional Development Seminar

The seminar is two hours and held at the board room at Walnut Center. A “TED Talk” style leadership career story will open up the seminar and transition afterwards to a topic for discussion or ask for creative solutions to a challenge posed by the leader in their field of work. This allows participants the opportunity to collaborate and interact with leadership and provide new solutions to challenges and initiatives.

OnlineCollaboration

Before and after the seminar, a technology platform for sharing ideas, learnings, and discussions will be integrated. Later, additional technologies will be integrated to provide the capability of promoting events, sharing highlights, and live streaming (for members unable to join in person). Audience members can participate in the brainstorming session as part of a small group or digitally via the application.

Driving Culture Change Through Collaboration

The BrainTrust strives to be more than a professional development event. It serves to drive innovation and break down barriers, resulting in an enterprise-wide culture change.

Why a BrainTrust event?

A BrainTrust event serves as forum that fosters innovation, learning, and inter-generational collaboration, thereby empowering and enabling employees to make an impact on the future of Kaiser Permanente and the entire healthcare industry. Solutions generated in BrainTrust events could turn into actionable plans that benefit leadership work and the company as a whole.
